Dragon Meaning to Me

I've always loved them. From when Spyro was released years ago, to the new movie How To Train Your Dragon, I've felt a deep connection to the mythical beast. I wish I could be one, flying free, warming the air with fire. Most people think scales are slimy and cold, but they're soft and protective. They just haven't seen it yet.

All of my life, whenever somthing that had to do with dragons came out, from Spyro to Eragon, I have loved dragons. I don't really know where I'm going with this, but I know, somewhere in my heart, that my totem animal is a dragon. And that they're real. DO. NOT. LAUGH. There's just an overwhelming feeling that there's more to the earth than meets the eye. Think about all the places we haven't been to yet. For me, dragons being real is as simple as there being other lifeforms in space. I mean, come ON. Billions of trillions of lightyears of stars and planets, and you think we're ALONE? Are you stupid? Well...anyway....

I always seem to have dreams about dragons. Some good, some bad. But even if it was a bad one, it seemed to end the same as the rest. That is with a blinding light from above and then a glistening white dragon flying down, telling me that there is nothing to fear and that it is not my foe. Then the dragon allows me to ride it to this mountain range covered in mist. And on the way she is telling me all about how I am the one spoke of through time. She also tells me her name is tarasque, she even told me how to spell it. As we start to descend, she tells me that there are two things that I need to have to prove myself if I am to move on. One: a sword made of tears. And two: a shield made of honor. And when I start on my journey, I always wake up. I some times think of what this dream is trying to tell me but I can't figure it out! I wish dragons where real so I could ask them in person, and see what they say.

Dreaming dragons

Im glad i final find a page that speaks about dragons seriously, about their Power magic and guidance. Ive always felt attracted to them, and they Came in force into my life in my Reiki iniciation, a great golden dragón spoke to me. Ive been trying to find his name in chinese folklore for im sure its there but theres very little information about it. From then on they have visited my dreams often, a blue one who was moré of my companion and ive been been blessed of dreaming i was one once, though many animals have given me that blessing dragons have a special place in my heart and im just happy to find a place where they aré respected and admired as they should. Thank you for your wonderful blog!

Ive been trying to fin hin ame in chinese folklore foro im sur bits there but theres ver lintel information about it. From ten on they ave visites my dramas opten, an blue once who was moré of my companion and ive been been blessed of dreaming to be once, though many animals hsve giben me that blessing drsgons ave a social place in my heart and im just hsppy to fin a pace where they ser respected and admired as they should. Thank you for your thoughtful contribution to whats-your-sign.com about dragons.

Although I'm not sure who Spyro is, and haven't seen the movie you referenced...I feel very much the same.

Dragons have held a great deal of power for me from the very beginning of my life.

They've been generous with their power, wisdom, healing. And, as you rightly observed, they've been incredibly protective of me too.

To be quite honest, my dragons have been catalysts for higher reasoning, and a unique view of the Universe....a kind of enlightenment in a way.
