Number Nine Meaning and Naming

Hi, Avia! I have been looking for answers in number nine energy, and the area of numerology.

I happened to come across this site-I can't say enough how inspirational it is to me and it's been a real delight browsing through your blog (and I cannot honestly say that about too many other sites I have seen on the subject!). Like fresh air...

I felt compelled to ask you a question that has me stumped, although you DID say the answer may be on another one of your sites I did some searching and I could not find anything about it. If it's there somewhere, my apologies...

Well, to the point, this is my question: I'm in the process of naming my first son, who is due Oct. 12, 2010. I am utilizing number meanings in numerology to find the right name.

I want something that brings him harmony. My favorite name is one that would give him a triple nine energy for the Destiny, Soul Urge, and Inner Dream...is that too much?

Is it better for number energy to be well rounded? The other two that I like would give him a Destiny #3, Soul Urge #1, Inner Dream #11 and a Destiny #11, Soul Urge #5, and Inner Dream #6.

All three would be compatable with me and the father. Any insight you have to give me would be so appreciated.

It's okay about not finding the page. I've offered a link to 999 meaning, and you can find that just above the comments (and just below your post). I write a lot of stuff in various places, it can be tough to track down something specific. No worries.

Is there such a thing as too much of a specific numeric energy? I'm not really inclined to think so. Numbers have a marvelous way of evening out energy - after all - they're nature is to always equate and balance out.

This is especially true with the number nine. I love how nines roll back into themselves (as mentioned on the above-referenced page - any sum of an equation with the number nine in it will return to itself - the number nine).

This makes me feel like your son will always return back to his roots (especially creative ones, as you are using "3" nine's together - and three is a monumentally creative number in symbolic numerology). Nine energy prompts the bearer to spiral back into his/her own source - get back to the core identity of oneself when it is a prominent feature in a name.

Sarah, I hope this (and the link I've provided) helps you chose the perfect name for your son. I think the most important factor is how you feel about your choice. If your heart is satisfied with the name/number combination - then I say GO FOR IT!
