Avia’s Response to Dee’s Question About Resources for Learning Number Meanings
Thank you for your email.
Mostly, the information on number 11 and other number meanings is is ubiquitous…just common-knowledge. Numerology has been around since the dawn of man, and great minds devised ways to make numbers make sense on a soulful level.
As far as resources, I take a lot of great inspiration from Manly P. Hall (he wrote a ton of books, including my favorite, The Secret Teachings of All Ages). I also consult Walter B. Gibson and Litzka R. Gibson’s book on Psychic Sciences.
I also play with numbers a lot. I like to see how numbers coincide with dates, times, and the events going on within a certain set of chronological calendar dates.
I gain insight into number meanings (and writing my articles, like the one on the meaning of number 11) by doing my own personal investigations. It may sound crazy, but I’ll ask for guidance about what numbers mean…what is being communicated…what happens with a number in nature, in the universe, in our lives.
I also get a lot of information from talking to my clients and reading numerological data for them on an intuitive level. Birthdates are astoundingly helpful in interpreting numbers when compared to personality and life events of my clients.
At the end of the day, I use a lot of resources – most of them are through observation and just keen perception over time.
It’s all about deciphering the personality of a number. It’s wonderful to have a scholar with a book to reference. But truly, the best interpretation is the time we spend with a phenomenon, the unique meaning each element has, working with that energy, experimenting with it, and going forth.
Oh, how long have I been interpreting number meanings? Geeze. I’ve been poking around for symbolic meanings of all kinds since I was a kid. I guess I started getting serious about numerology when I was trying to pass the math portion on an entrance exam into college.
You see, funnily enough, I blow at mathematics. I’m a complete dolt at arithmetic. I really wanted to get into this college, and if I didn’t get a passing grade on the math part of the entrance test – I was toast! So, I decided to apply creative math in hopes that outlook might help me we the test. Applying numerology to the equations helped a little. Mostly, cramming on problems on the test helped most, lol.
Anyway…although I’ve always looked at numbers from a symbolic perspective…I got serious about numerology in 2010. And yes, I passed the entrance exam! Yay!
I guess I got long-winded about responding to your question. But truly, these methods are how most of my articles are created.
Thanks for your interest!
