Meaning of Problems: Problems. We all have them. What if problems are symbolic? If they are, what possible symbolic meaning could come from our problems? To be sure, experiencing challenges is a sure-fire guarantee in life. This article is an encouragement to explore the deeper meaning behind our problems with a goal to clarify their purpose in our lives.

The Thing About Problems
Have you ever had the same snafu crop up in your life over and over again? I have. After seeing the same difficulty occur repeatedly in my life, it finally dawned on me these recurring problems might be symbolic of a long-standing issue I needed to address.
Specifically, recurring difficulties were a sign I had to learn a lesson. In exploring and (eventually) learning the lesson of the problem that kept resurfacing, the problem miraculously abated in time, never to return again.
I’m not necessarily talking major trauma here. Some of the most seemingly inconsequential snags in the fabrics of our lives can provide profound symbolism.

Example of Interpreting Symbolic Meaning of Problems
For example, there was a time in my life when I consistently experienced car problems. Shot radiator, faulty electrical system, fuel pump on the fritz. Maddening! Admittedly, these glitches were infuriating (especially when I couldn’t afford repairs at the time). But once I removed myself from the immediate anxiety of the difficulty, I began to see these vehicular malfunctions in a different light – I started viewing my car as a symbol. I began to reason if my car is a symbol, then it would logically represent things like:
- Power
- Control
- Freedom
- Mobility
- Navigation
- Destination
Gaining New Perspective
Logically, (in my example) if my car symbolized things like freedom, I had to take a hard look at what was posing a threat to my freedom, mobility, and my ability to navigate through life.
Consequently, my car problems took on a whole different feel…I began to see the car was a smaller version of some larger issues. I began to look at my life, and see what kind of inner conflict or emotional tug-of-wars were going on to cause a threat to my freedom.
With this new perspective, I was able to root out the emotional source of some major blockages in my life. It turned out, once those inner (emotional) barriers were cleaned up, the external symptoms such as engine failure started to improve too.
Final Thoughts About the Symbolism of Problems
I invite you to consider external/environmental problems as a symbolic symptom of inner issues. Once these inner issues are identified and cleaned up a little bit, I suspect you’ll find your external challenges or obstacles easing up in your life too.
Just some thoughts I’ve had in dealing with my own problems that I thought I’d pass along to you. I hope these ideas on the symbolic meaning of problems have helped you in some way in your approach to problem-solving.
Thanks for reading. And remember, life is symbolic. Keep interpreting!

The Law Of Polarity And What It Means For Us.
The Law of Polarity is immutable. That means it can’t be changed. This universe operates by, and indeed would cease to exist without the Law of Polarity. But we, as conscious, illumined beings can circumvent the law. Bend it just a little. Because we are equipped with the power of perception, we can choose to see the light or the dark in any situation. Learn more about the symbolic meaning of the law of polarity here.
